China Guangzhou Consults on Catalogue of Prohibited, Restricted, and Controlled HazChem

Guangzhou Municipality released a notice to seek public feedback on its Catalogue of Prohibited, Restricted, and Controlled Hazardous Chemicals (Trial).
The Catalogue involves 145 hazardous chemicals which are to be banned from production, storage, operations, transport, and use in Guangzhou, and 606 hazardous chemicals which are subject to restrictions and control measures.
On July 18, 2019, the Bureau of Emergency Management of Guangzhou Municipality released a notice to consult on the Catalogue of Prohibited, Restricted, and Controlled Hazardous Chemicals (Trial) [1]. The consultation is set to end on July 30, 2019.
