China New Chemical Notification Statistics in the First Half of 2017

On 10 Aug 2017, China MEP issued statistics on China new chemical substance notification (China NCSN). There were 70 regular notifications, 1290 simplified notifications and 14 applications for modification of registration certificate information approved in the first half of 2017.

1. Regular Notification

Based on the regular notification data collected, the details are specified as below:

2. Simplified Notification

As for Simplified Notification, in total 1290 simplified notifications have been approved in the first half of 2017, of which 265 were notified through general case of simplified notification and 1025 were notified through special case of simplified notification. 3. Scientific Research Record Notification

For scientific research record notifications, the statistics haven’t been published.

4. Certificate Modification

In addition, from Jan to Jun of 2017, China MEP approved 14 applications for modification of registration certificate information involving modification of notifying company, certificate holder, amount of manufacture/import, etc.
