The Ministry of Environment (Korea MoE) has opened a Help Desk providing bilingual assistance (KO & EN) to support both domestic and foreign companies to better comply with K-REACH.
Through the Help Desk, MoE will be able to file, record and document issues, offer real-time online/offline consultation regarding K-REACH implementation and provide training for manufacturers and importers (grouped by sector and geographical distribution, etc). Additionally, it will be a platform for collection of opinions and recommendations and serve like a forum to promote feedback and dialogue.
In the near future, several systems will go online, including:
K-REACH Joint Registration Support System
Test Data Trading System
Chemicals Registration System
An English webpage for K-REACH has also been prepared by Chemlinked to assist non-Korean companies, especially SMEs in identifying their obligations under K-REACH so they can take the necessary steps to ensure compliance with this regulation (K-REACH Chempedia), including annual reporting, chemical registration, product management, data submission, testing items for each tonnage band, etc.
