The China’s National Registration Center for Chemicals (NRCC) of SAWS has launched a website on chemical accidents to promote safety in production and reduce occurrence of accidents. The website works on subsequent alert and retrospective case-study chemical accidents. The NRCC aims to build a share center containing statistics of domestic and overseas chemical accidents.
The website reports accidents happened in chemical relevant activities including oil exploiting, refining, producing, storing and transporting of chemicals . The details of the accident including time, location, chemical information and impacts are published in various ways such as writing, photo and video. In addition, a forum is available for the China’s safety management personnel to discuss and exchange information.
The NRCC has also introduced the24-hour national chemical emergency hotline (86-532-8388-9090) on the website.
