South Korea Issues 364 CMR Substances for Registration By 2021

    Takehome:

    • The CMRs subject to registration by 31 Dec 2021 have been designated and notified by the MOE.
    • Pre-registration is necessary to be eligible for the registration grace period.

    On 28 Dec 2018, South Korea's Ministry of Environment issued a list of 364 CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic or reproductive toxic) that require registration as a priority under the revised K-REACH by 2021.
