Taiwan issued the Guidance for New and Existing Chemical Substance Registration (Version 1) on 9 Sep 2015. In addition, a document containing 100 frequently-asked questions collected from potential registrants for new and existing chemical substance registration was issued on 3 Sep 2015, providing corresponding official answers.
The “Regulation of New and Existing Chemical Substances Registration” entered into force on 11 Dec 2014 setting out specific provisions under Taiwan TCSCA for chemical substances manufactured or imported in Taiwan. The newly released two documents all relate this regulation, aiming to guide potential registrants in complying with their obligations.
