Updated on 26 Apr 2018, Taiwan’s online search platform for registered chemical information included 1,472 new chemical registrations and 178,805 existing chemical registrations.
For new chemical registration, the number of corresponding types are specified as below.

The new chemical registration information accessible for the public includes the basic identification of the substances (CAS No., Chemical name, registration type, registrant name, registration No., etc.) and the manufacture/import, use and exposure information.
For existing chemical registrations, only CAS No. or Serial No. can be used for search. Single registrant name and the registration No are not accessible on the platform. Only the proportion of different uses of the substance and the number of registrants are disclosed.
The new and existing chemicals are registered under the Regulation of New and Existing Chemical Substances Registration. Taiwan EPA is now consulting on the draft revisions to the Regulation (CL news). Any comments are welcome before 27 Apr.
