Turkey Publishes Official KKDIK

Turkey has finalized its version of registration, evaluation and assessment of chemicals which is named using the acronym “KKDIK” (Chemicals Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction). The official publication of KKDIK has been expected since the release of its draft in September 2014 by Turkey’s Ministry of Environment and Urbanization (MoEU). However, the preparation has been delayed for more than one and half years due to the unstable political situation in Turkey. On Jun 23 2017, MoEU finally published the official version of KKDIK in Turkey’s Official Gazette.
