Coating Import License: A Practical Guidance

According to “Administrative Measures on Inspection and Supervision of Imported Coating”, the coating importers need a license issued by the Inspection and quarantine organizations. AQSIQ should designate specific testing laboratories and registration/filing agencies for the imported coating. The testing laboratories should be responsible for the compulsory testing items of imported coating and issuing specific testing report in accordance with requirements of technical regulations. The filing agencies should take the responsibility to accept the filing applications from imported coating and confirm specific testing results as well as other related affairs. Inspection and quarantine organizations should sign and issue Coating Import License for imported coating that have passed the inspections.
