South Korea Consults on Revising the Recycling Symbols on Packing Materials

MOE proposed to optimize the requirements on recycling symbols on September 10, 2020. The packing material recycling methods are to be added along with the recycling symbols. The recycling symbol size is expected to be enlarged from 8mm to 12mm.

Taiwan Updates Toxic Chemical Substance List

In response to international management trends of dicofol, on September 18, 2020, Taiwan EPA listed Dicofol into the Toxic Chemical Substance List (TCSL) as Class 1, 3 toxic chemical and implemented a blanket ban on it. In addition, the management on several POPs that were previously listed as toxic chemical were tightened.
