China Consults on Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals Subject to Special Regulation

16,743 Existing Substances Pre-registered under K-REACH

South Korea’s pre-registration of existing chemical substances manufactured or imported over 1 ton per year ended on Jun 30th, 2019. The Ministry of Environment (MoE) recently released a summary of the pre-registered substances. The data was collected by Jul 19th, 2019 when the direct supplementation or update of the submitted information ended.

Taiwan Requires Additional Operational Information on Specific Priority Management Chemicals

On 12th September 2019, Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Authority under MoL issued a notice requiring submission of additional operational information from the handling enterprises of 10 designated priority management chemicals. The additional information should be submitted through the online PRochem platform before 15th November 2019. The affected chemicals are shown in Table 1.

The Philippines Proposes to Add 31 Chemicals to PICCS LIST

China Consults on Safety Guidelines for Chemical Laboratories

On 12th October 2019, China Chemical Safety Association (CCSA) issued a notice to seek public feedback on the draft of the Guideline of Safety Management for Chemical Laboratories, which is an association standard formulated by CCSA.
