China’s Newly Revised Safe Production Law to Take Effect in September

On June 10, 2021, a revision to the Safe Production Law of the People’s Republic of China was adopted at a meeting of China’s top legislative body. The newly revised law is set to take effect starting from September 1 this year.

Taiwan Consults on Extending PECs Registration Deadline to the End of 2023

A draft amendment to Taiwan’s New and Existing Chemical Registration Regulation was recently issued for a 60-day public consultation. The draft amendment will grant an extended deadline for the registration of 106 priority existing chemicals (PECs). In addition, some significant changes to exemptions, data submission, registration validity, confidentiality validity, review period, etc. are proposed.

Taiwan to Regulate Ammonium Nitrate and Hydrogen Fluoride as Concerned Chemicals
