South Korea: 278 Existing Chemical Substance CBI Protection Expired

    Note: Updated on 10 May by MoE Announcement No. 2017-91, the 278 non-toxic chemical substances were officially published with chemical names disclosed.

    South Korea’s Ministry of Environment (MoE) issued the MoE Notice No. 2017-291 on 7 Apr 2017, consulting on chemical names of 278 non-toxic chemical substances. These substances applied for confidential information protection with only generic names in the past. Now the validity for data protection has expired and the chemical names have been disclosed for public reference. Any comments are welcome before 27 Apr 2017.
