Taiwan to Hold Free Seminar on Existing Chemical Nomination & New Chemical Registration

Taiwan’s Existing Chemical Substances Inventory (ECSI) is the foundation for current and future regulation of the new and existing chemical substances in Taiwan. In June of this year the second supplementary nomination for ECSI will open. Three industry focused seminars will be held in Taiwan to outline the protocols and procedures involved in the supplementary nomination process. It is the last chance for chemicals to be included into the ECSI. Inclusion in the ECSI will exempt substances from Taiwan’s forthcoming new chemical registration system which will be put into effect from 22 Nov 2014 onwards. The seminars will also provide the latest information concerning safety assessment and registration management of new chemical substances. Anyone who is interested can attend free of charge after registering online at SAHTECH website.
