China to Initiate a Summer Action Plan for VOCs Management

During Summer 2020, China will further strengthen the management of VOCs emission. The measures, including promoting the implementation of relevant standards, setting up a platform to record data and stakeholder activities, improving pollution control capabilities, etc. The government established a positive list system and, based on this list, will implement policies designed to promote enterprises that deal with low-VOC products.

South Korea Provides Supports to SMEs for K-REACH Registration of 82 Substances
May 18, 2020
On May 8, 2020, South Korea’s Ministry of Environment (MoE) issued a list of 82 existing chemical substances[1]. The small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in South Korea who will finish K-REACH registration of these substances by 2021 are eligible for MoE’s support program. The MoE will offer supports throughout their K-REACH registration process.
